Wish you were a tad closer. I have an Alpha, Summit Open and the X Stand and like the Alpha best for long hike hunts and rougher country like the bottom of the park. They all weigh about the same but but they carry different.

I love my lone wolfs- alphas w sticks that is. I haven't hunted out of state in a few years and that was the primary use for this climber. If I were to use another comfort matters more than packing them in as it would be in mature woods around here. I absolutely agree that this is the best carrying climber there is- just changing the locale and way I hunt to some degree.
