Shooting a bow standing or sitting from stand?

Better radius standing, to me that means better chance / luck. But I've shot & scored out to 35 yards sitting in stand as well. Perhaps the difference to some might be just what type of stand they're in. I mean the ladder stands I have with removable gun bar's, one hang on has a swing up, the other just a platform & seat where nothing is in the way.
