Savage Axis .308

So back in April I paid my uncle $25 for a raffle ticket. The raffle being everyday in September a gun club was giving away a new gun of some sorts. I got a call last night and it just so happens that I won a savage axis. Not sure if it is the axis II or axis xp or anything yet. I already have a rifle in .308. I'm not going to sell it but I want ideas of what I could do with it. It's a cheaper gun and I got it for free so I'm pretty much open to any ideas.

I'd do it in a heartbeat....dad has 270 and I've killed a few deer with it good shooting for the price...

Have it rebored to 358win and cut the extra barrel down the 18" and have a great deer rifle.
