  1. Only 2 and a little for me, that’s really good for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. 16 in the pile and 3 on the other side of the fence. Not a bad few hours even if it was 0 out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Not a rebarrel but a rebore, I have a BAR chambered in 358Win with a 16” barrel. Shoots very good, I never shot it as a 308 but I would have to assume it improved the factory accuracy. It never made it to the woods this year and don’t know if it ever will but it was a fun project. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I completely agree, the funny thing is from my experience some kind of tinted glasses completely negates this. I wear sunglasses while hunting and can’t remember the last time I had a deer make “eye contact” while wearing them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Can you blame them? The day I retire I’ll be on that list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The old man Ruger lab mutt Henry lab mutt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. . Next year I will sight in with 100 grain field tips and trust that the NAP mechanicals will fly identical. That’s disgusting to me, “trusting” it will be the same? Give me a break man, it’s 10$ or less. Crossbows can absolutely be tuned via the cables. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. How’d you make out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If they don’t have what you’re after or if it’s closer to you smitty’s in Schatichoke usually has a bunch of powder and reloading stuff, and if you’re that way you might as well to go to beectofts gun shop as well. Between the 2 of them they’ll have the reloading stuff you need more than likely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Greenwich is the other one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Been there a few times, seem decent. They have a pretty good ammo and reloading supplies. Prices were a little high but not terrible. If you’re out that way swing by runnings, it’s a pretty neat store. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Merry Christmas! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. What didn’t you like about it moog? I know we’ve talked about it before how much our big feet get in the way when trying to hunt from a ladder stand. I use mine every time when I’m hunting from a ladder stand. Use the ladder tie off swing around back of tree use seat as foot rest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yup, everyone’s different for sure. I’m not small framed @6ft 220 but I’m in pretty good shape. I can get in my saddle 22ish ft off the ground with screw ins faster than I could with a climber. With sticks it’s probably close but I would still give the edge to the saddle. If you ever get the chance try one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I don’t wear a lot of heavy bulky closes but there is plenty of adjustments to make room for bulkier clothes. My lone wolf hasn’t been off the nail in the barn since I bought my saddle years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I also use mine a lot for turkey hunting, I can never get comfortable sitting on the ground and setting up straddling a big tree is absolute money for turkey hunting! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I have one of those as well and it is one heck of a squirrel gun! Other than my savage model 24 in 22lr over 410 it’s my most used squirrel getter. That’s another option is the newer savage model 42 in 22 over 410. If I had to pick one squirrel getter for the rest of my life a 22 over 410 would definitely be it! 18. I shot out of one a lot before I ever hunted out of it and I never noticed anything different. As I’ve said on here before, even if I’m hunting a stand I already have hunt I still use the saddle and keep the seat folded up on the stand. It way more comfortable than any stand I’ve ever hunted before! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Been using one for a few years now. I like it, curious to see how you feel about it next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yes, 10/22 is one of the most popular firearms in America they’re all over the used market. Problem is with store like dicks and Walmart that buy a million a year their sales prices are often better than a good used one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Ha, I know how that goes! My lab mutt Henry comes to dopey way faster than his actual name! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That’s what’s fun about turkey hunting, there a lot of ways to do it! I’ve been way too close to roosted gobblers before as well. Never shot one of the roost. I did shoot one at about 10 feet just as his feet were touching the ground from flying down. That bird I’m sure saw me in the dark and he stayed in the tree until after 8am before flying down. I never made a turkey call just, just moving leaves with my hand and finally he flew right at me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. My next lab will be named trout or dacks, I’ve about wore out gun manufacturers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I like it Bill, good video! I’m still trying to get my first gobbler with my 410 pistol. I don’t want to do it reaping tho. Not that I have anything against it I’ve killed a few doing it it’s just not much fun or a challenge on the right bird! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
