  1. There is no such thing as a landowner permit. A landowner gets their first first permit in the wmu that they own the land in if there’s are doe permits issued in that wmu, it’s the same thing a disabled veteran gets. Disabled veterans preference isn’t wmu specific. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It shouldn’t be mandatory for them to be armed and there obviously wouldn’t be no obligation for them to act if they are but being armed should certainly be an option for them! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Absolutely, there’s a reason why any firearms instructor worth a crap teaches shooting at the pelvic girdle. Obviously center mass is a better aim point but not always an option. Pelvic girdle is more that 2x’s bigger than a head. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. We were taking about Saratoga at work the other night. General consensus is the city is gone and will never come back! I won’t even go there anymore. Last summer I was eating sushi on the balcony and after the gang activity I watched I told my then girlfriend and daughter that I will never step foot in down town Saratoga again. This from a guy that used to be downtown 1 or 2 nights a week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have body armor, I hope I never need it but I have it. If they make owning it illegal when the day comes that I need it the laws won’t matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. No one said gang members don’t murder people but your post about them having to kill to get in the gang is bullshit. There are 22 million African American males in the us. 1 out of 3 African American males in the US are/were in a gang. That would be over 7,000,000 murders just on initiation alone. With an average of 19,000 murders a year in the US those numbers just don’t add up and proves your ignorance and that you’re talking out of your ass. Im sure you know a guy that knew a guy who’s friend told you otherwise but those are the facts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Because it happened once doesn’t mean most times, I never said it didn’t happen. Not real ones? I work in a state prison. I forgot more about gangs last night in my sleep then you’ll ever know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I agree, I don’t go anywhere without a gun but hope to hell I’ll never have to use it. My line was drawn before I ever started carrying, I will not draw to stop a crime that isn’t life threatening. I did this to make it black and white for myself and it’s the same thing I taught my students when I was instructing conceal carry classes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’m a long ways from pro gang and I will agree with the “went on to bigger things.” But “most gang initiations require a kid to kill” is complete bullshit! I work with gangs every day I bet it’s not 1 out of 100 gang members have murdered someone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Anyone who claims that are ignorant and hasn’t done it. Anyone who has done it knows that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My buck

Hell of a buck, and a great looking mount! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’ve let some pretty nice bucks go in my life for a variety of reasons but I don’t think I ever have or ever will let a 2yr old turkey go! If he’s got a full fan and a beard he’s plenty good enough for me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. There’s nothing to cool off about, my reply was to how F***ed up NY is, in that the top dec official has basically zero say in our game laws. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. For the 100,000 time, none of us care what he said or believed! What we care about is what he did for this country! I’m sorry you’re too stupid to realize this… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You’re obviously ignorant to how ny works. As the top Dec official you’d be able to accomplish 1 of the things on your list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Although fuel is more than gasoline if you figured out your gallons per hour I would be surprised if the diesel didn’t come out on top. I have 2 tractors if the same vintage and close to same hp and the diesel goes almost twice the hours that than the gas does doing the same work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. If you consider someone shooting a deer with a crossbow during archery season poaching would you consider someone that shoots a Turkey with a lead load poaching once the ban goes through? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. For years I’ve been saying that I’ve lost my drive for Turkey hunting but I hunted more this year than in the last few and had a lot of fun. Only hunted NY 3 days, 2 with a gun but hunted Massachusetts and Maine and was successful everywhere I went. Birds seemed very vocal and with the cold slow start to spring I think the seasons hit the breeding very well. After 20 years and over 75 toms/jakes I’m still learning new tricks/what not to do’s. I have never been a big caller but when I did I almost always soft called. This year if I called it was almost always very aggressive when I knew I was close. Ny #1, Me. #2 and my Mass bird all died because they couldn’t take the very aggressive calling. Ny #2 was killed with 2 soft tree yelps. Me. #1 was killed with no calling at all I shadowed him and some jakes and hens for a few hours before they finally got into a spot that he was killable. It was a great year, now back to work on Tuesday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. We will agree to disagree. I don’t think it’s anyones business how many rounds of ammo I buy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Seems fitting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Never owned nor have I seen an assault rifle? I do buy a couple thousand 5.56 and 9mm at least every other month. Always by the case “1,000.” I enjoy shooting, is that a red flag to you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I understand what you’re saying and agree. My point is putting steps in place to make it more difficult for the bad guy to get in is a much better first step than a good guy with a gun. I’ve never been comfortable at places like you describe and avoid them when possible. It’s something I’m always thinking about! You hit the nail on the head until we start dealing with evil the way they should be dealt with at the first signs these situations will continue! Evil doesn’t ever go away in a person, they can hide it but it’s always there until they’re put in the ground! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. When was the last time there was a shooting in an airport or stadium? Both places metal detectors have been used. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Me too as long as it didn’t include the Adirondacks. I think my idea would be a good compromise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
