growalot
Oregon grape holly...I don't know how I missed this one...pretty, semi shade loving semi deer proof and loaded with edible berries with medicinal health properties. Game birds and even Fox and other critters relish the berries and makes good jam. Prickly so good cover ..not actually a holly, not a grape. Easily propagated...I will add as one of my new plantings...the Goji are doing well from last year. The other will be either heart butternut ..though in a far off North corner...They shade and roots can inhibit growth of other plants.
