growalot
Deer here will spook at a new set...So to avoid making any birds jumpy I'm setting foul weather blinds out early the new one is at the end of garden staked and tied.still deciding on the other. I have 3 New swivel stools to put in them and will test my Caldwel field prod in one tomorrow.how nice it will be not having to hold that gun up...May even use the cross bow. Though now I have to find their main roost..I have some 4 a.m. sits to do this week.
growalot
I wish you and Jeanine the best of luck...things here have been the quietest I have seen in a good many years...Did get just one single hen walking through the plot I put the blind in...pulled card this a.m. and she walked through the day before I put the blind in...it faces the "pond area" a couple of hundred feet away. A bit disappointed normally I'm tripping over turkey droppings and my 2 best areas I have seen little to no sign...one had huge bear droppings next to a brush blind and the other those pit bulls have been running. I am still hopeful though the new guy who has hunters now also has kids and they are like clock work...every week end and a couple of afternoons a week...they are just ramming and jamming in their woods with a 4 wheeler and dirt bike...That should help keep them over my way...lol
