Has anyone ever tried constant mowing of ferns in a clover plot till the clover takes over, this one plot is small maybe 50x50 so last week I went and weed wacked any ferns popping up I think i will do the same tomorrow and agin In two weeks

I know it is late in the year but why wouldn't you spray them with roundup or vegetation killer of some kind, then till it all up then plant

i was going to start over so I weedwhacked the area and everything was still growing underneath so I reseeded some patches. The second plot wasn't doing to well so I left it alone until next year.
