growalot
So a hunter reported a huge pile of garbage on land he hunted...right next to the road and not buried. Sullivan county. It was put under surveillance A contractor told his workers to dump on the "vacant Lot" from a construction site in NYC. So this is what he was ticked for... 2 misdemeanor for unlawful disposal of SOLID WASTE OVER 10 CUBIC YARDS. `Now if you don't know what that looks like, it's a dumpster 12.5'x6.5'x4.5 ft deep. The second ticket was for placing noisome and unwholesome substance near a highway. So That answered a question as to the private dumping... 1. nothing over 10cubic yards 2. Open dumping near a highway...ooppss they were specific...PUBLIC highway I'm thinking the guy no longer hunts that land...they never mentioned the that contractor didn't own the vacant property...I would think he'd have a ticket and fines for that as well if he didn't.., The punishment were fines and he had to clean up the sight...now it did not say removal, it said clean up...He could have buried it. Well after removing the overage on 10 cubic yards...I suppose
