David Kelley, of Ava, poses with a piebald deer he shot in Oneida County. According to Kelley: "The deer was taken Nov. 12 in the town of Western using a .30 06 rifle. "There was a fresh snow the night before, and at first I thought the deer had snow sticking to its coat until he came closer and I realized that they were spots not snow .
