"My son scouted this 9- point buck with a trail cam and told me where to set my stand," he said.

He wrote: "I was hunting in Cortland County with my 16 year old son, Mitchel, and my 77-year-old father, John. My son scouted this 9- point buck with a trail cam and told me where to set my stand.

"On opening day I shot him at 8:30."
