Emily Viglietta holds up her first steelhead ever. She caught it recently in the Upper Fly Fishing section of the Salmon River near Altmar on the day after Thanksgiving.

Tony Viglietta wrote: "Emily grew up in Manlius and graduated F-M High School. Her parents still live in Manlius. She's currently working as an attorney in New York City.

"Emily had to chase the fish through a hundred yards of rapids before subduing it and said 'That fish was into my backing in about 20 seconds!' "

"Estimated weight was 12 pounds."
