She wrote: "My family has had bird feeders in our yard since I was a small child, and in the 20 years we have lived in Liverpool we have seen almost any type of bird native to this area. We have seen the more common birds like chickadees and cardinals and more surprising sightings of hawks and falcons. We have even had a pair of mallard ducks walk through our back yard. "Attached are a few interesting photos we took at our bird feeder on Jan. 2 and was the most surprising of all we have seen. Three wild turkeys eating the seed that smaller birds had dropped to the ground from the feeders above.
