His uncle is Chris Bowes, a senior tournament director for B.A.S.S.

Jacob Jones, 13, of Camillus, holds up an impressive redfish he caught Nov. 22 while fishing with his father and uncle, Chris Bowes, at Mosquito Lagoon in Florida.

Bowes, with CNY roots, is a senior tournament director with B.A.S.S., the professional Bassmaster organization.
