Frank Doll, of Wolcott, poses with a nice steelhead he caught Jan. 10 in Sterling Creek (east branch), a small waterway that runs into Lake Ontario.

He was using a center pin rod and hooked the fish on a trout bead. It weighed more than 15 pounds, he said.
