He caught it on a worm.

Nico Garlic, of Constantia, caught and released this smallmouth bass recently on Oneida Lake at Big Bay.

He caught it using a worm with his Batman fishing pole.

Editor's note: This fish was hooked accidentally. It is illegal to target bass on Oneida Lake until the opening day of walleye season, which is May 5.
