WMU's & mileage

I was going over a basic plan for May and wondered about what other NY Turkey hunters do.

Typicaly hit a few favorite spots in 6k, 7m & 7r. And budgeted about 250$ for fuel. Camp is in the NZ so living in CNY I typicaly stay home and do day runs. That can make it hard to get to sleep when I should because I'm surrounded by typical jazz instead of the serenity of camp.

It's alot of extra miles but spring Turkey after all is only once a year.

i live in 6k, but hunt the fam. farm land in 6g. usually dont travel to far. but, i dont see myself doing any hunting this spring.
