They got them fishing at the Big Bay Marina, using a Gary Yamamoto panfish jig.

A smiling Alex Sanville, 9, of Jamesville, holds up a nice pair of crappie he caught while fishing with is father, Greg Sanville, and a friend in the waters around the Big Bay Marina on Oneida Lake.

The fish were caught April 13. They used a Gary Yamamoto panfish jig.

"We all caught our limit," the father said. "Alex caught the biggest, 15 inches."
