Traditional Christmas eve drink for me is Blackberry Brandy.

Any other time, Crown and 7 or ginger.

Blackberry goes in my flask for those all day hunts when to cold to be hunting.A nice highball is the way you make it and enjoy it.

    How about NY mountain lions?

    How about Bigfoot?

How about weather 243 is enough to kill a deer?

How about what is the best bow/gun?

How about is there really a Santa Claus?

We do have mountain lions 243 is more than enough gun and yes I believe in Santa Claus.

  3. I got lucky at a farm auction this past year and purchased a wheel horse with all attachments for 500 its from the early 60's and works great has a 42 inch snow thrower snow plow york rake mower deck and a wagon.Yup I like the old equipment better and can be fixed with just a few tools

  4. I am not against any tool used for hunting I will say for my area they did nothing for the deer harvest/take.I also bet that deer take numbers are down from 2011 to current.I do see them as a good thing for older and younger users also the ones that may be afraid of a gun/noise/recoil.

Who has what for Christmas dinner?

The last few years have been all about going to my grandparents house.  My dad would make dinner at his house, and bring it up to the grandparents home.  Well this year we lost my remaining Grandma in Jenuary, and my last remaining Grandpa passed on the 2nd day of gun season last month.  Both were my dad’s parents, so this year I decided to have him and his girlfriend up to my house, for a fresh new tradition where my grandparents never had dinner here before.  I bought my home 6.5 yrs ago, so I feel this is a good idea for a fresh start, at least there will not be 2 empty chairs here, and I am hoping all thos makes that day just a pinch easier without added reminders.

Now to the more brighter side of things, I am making a nice homemade lasagna, with homebaked Italian bread w/sesame seeds.   Jenn will be making a nice salad with the usuals you guys see in my dinner pics with the fresh mozzarella, and balsamic glaze.   We are thinking about have some crackers with summer sausage, and muenster, and cheddar cheeses.  I would like to find some nice bitter olives, and stuffed cherry peppers with the prosciutto/provolone.

Not at all looking for sympathy, etc, I usually do not advertise my business like this, but maybe your dinners will give me another idea as well.

Looks sounds like a shopping spree and some prep work for the stuffed peppers.I would buy the makings and fix them your way idea.Nothin says loven like homemade goodness.

Lunch with mama. Stooges in Lockport. It’s the old City hall building. Deviled eggs. All their burgers are stuffed. Mine was bacon bourbon jam and peanut butter, topped with carmelized onions. Sweet tater waffle fries with honey So good. Apple pie sangria was great. Highly recommend this place feb89b4172cacc52b5c7b5f34650253d.jpg1f07305b2549f3e14cb8367e11492e41.jpg3f8e17574d9e4ece0603b931a6a7a942.jpg

Many places in NYC stopped accepting cash. “Cashless” is the new trend so without a card you are screwed.

My wife and I have 1 card (JetBlue) that we use for everything (gas groceries etc.) then pay off in full each month. We earn tons of points and use them for free trips. I actually can’t go on enough trips to keep the points near zero. I’m around 150K points right now.
