    I stopped into Dicks Sporting Goods today in Orchard Park NY looking for some closeouts on Hunting gear. Could have shot a cannon off in the store and not hit anyone. Store employee was stocking shelves in the ammo aisle and I kiddingly asked, " Any 22LR ammo available?" He said I can sell you a BRICK of Remington 22LR ammo. I almost fainted. IHe would only sell 1 brick per customer but it was a good sign . I paid $25.50 OR RIGHT AROUND THERE WITHOUT TAX. I Left a Happy Camper...

    -4 degrees and the winds are still whipping. 3 foot drift out my back door and snow is coming down steady just south of Buffalo.....    Definitely cold out there. Driving bans all around me. Just made another pot of coffee. Being retired is wonderful..

    10#'S PORK BUTT

    15#'S VENISON

    5TBL CRACKED BLACK PEPPER

    3/4 CUP KOSHER SALT

    5 TSP INSTACURE

    3 TBL MUSTARD SEED

    4 TBLPOWDERED GARLIC

    3 CUPS FERMENTO

    1 cup corn syrup solids

    2/3 cup dextrose

    2 tbl Ghost pepper for a little heat

     

    Grind all the meat and thoroughly mix in the spices.

    Pack into a meat tub to cure for 48 hrs.

    After the first 24 hrs mix thoroughly once again.

    Keep refrigerated and after the 48 hrs put in smokrhouse and smoke at 180 until meat is 155 degrees. I stuffed it into casings 3"x 18. Each casing holds about 2.5#'s of meat.

    Well he took our guns and bullets and now the  terrorists are starting up once again. I think Oblama is winning his communist ways. The libs still think the government will protect them and there is no evil in the world. I am glad I am older and don't have to watch the pacifistic America lose the battle. GOD Bless America for what it once stood for........  AMEN..

    Even if you don't have a CC in your county I am quite sure it is a CC in the other reciprocating states. They Ain't like NY. I have a CC in Erie county since 75 and thank GOD I got it way back then. It's all idiotic and money making for all the processes and procedures needed here. The drug dealers all have pistols with 20 rnd mags but the poor working law abiding citizen can't get zilch unless he pays and arm and a leg because he is a law abiding non  porch sitting man trying to abide by the law. Glad I'm getting old because this new generation is screwed. Thanks for letting me rant.

    Mailed mine into NH on April 6th and the check is cashed so its probably in the mail already. What the He$$ am I doing living in this Andrew Dumo state of NY. I hope the guy from Amherst sues the crap out of the state and they force Andy to step down for overstepping his boundries. What an egotistical in love with himself power monger.

    I just applied for my NH permit .  I have a NYS CC permit since 1975. All you have to do is send d/load their PDF file and fill it out. You need a copy of your NYS permit front and back and 3 character references. Also a $100 dollar fee for a 4 yr license. It gives you the ability to carry in 29 different states or something like that. I just wanted it for when I travel down to PA etc. You can google pistol permit NH or try this link. When I called down there to NH a female trooper answered on the first ring and was very polite discussing the procedure. Nothing like our Cuomo state.

    I was at the Pistol Permit office yesterday in Buffalo. NY  with my daughter turning in her application for a pistol permit.Got hter about 9:30AM and there were about 25 people ahead of her. We were out of there in about an hour which wasn't bad. Then we went off to get the fingerprints taken for her.  I think it cost around 102.. Took about another half hour wait W/ APPOINTMENT. sHE IS ALL SET NOW. sHE IS 34 YEARS OLD AND SHOULD HAVE IT BY THE TIME SHE is 36.  Her husband got his in about a year 2 yrs ago but was denied CC.  I got my CC back in 1975 and I remember it was also tough back then. I was also a dealer in Erie county for about 8 years around 1990-1998 and remember I had to go through that process every yr to sell handguns... Life is getting tougher but the tougher have to get going. GOD bless America.
