  1. I don't work for Remington or anything, just passing information along to anyone who might be interested; Remington is offering cash back rebates on select guns until the end of the year: http://www.remington.com/pages/news-and-resources/rebates-and-promotions/Fall%202010%20Rebate%20Roundup.aspx
  2. Yep...I just got a new Martin Saber, it's great bow, smooth draw, quiet, no handshock/vibration, and it's a lot more accurate than I am.

Just retired my (father's) old Bear Pronghorn Hunter for a Martin Saber last week.
  4. Well, perhaps than someone can offer an alternative broadhead selection; this will be my first year bowhunting, I'm shooting a Martin Saber, 57lbs and 27inches using Beman ICS 400 arrows; the Magnus Buzzcut came up repeatedly as a broadhead suggestion.
  5. Are serrated broadheads (i.e, magnus buzzcut) legal in New York? I can't seem to find anything on DEC that says one way or the other.
  6. Damn, Pine Bush is that bad? I'm going to school in Troy and that was going to be my bowhunting spot. I don't have class early mornings most days, though, so I might try to get out during the week...
  7. Probably not, all the smart guys who are good at archery get recruited by places like UConn and Texas A&M to shoot competitively; we've all got too much homework to travel all over the place going to competition.
  8. Hello everyone, I'm Matt, I'm 19 and from the Albany area; I've been shooting bows since I was about 7 and rifles since I was about 11. This fall I will be a junior at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, where I study Information Technology with a focus on Network Engineering and security. I am also the webmaster of the archery club here at RPI, you can find us at http://archery.union.rpi.edu. Hope to share and learn much from everyone on here. ~Matt
