Several people — including possibly one police officer — have reportedly been shot at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, according to police radio reports coming out of Oak Creek.

The incident reportedly occured about 10:45 a.m. Initial reports said there were four victims, and an active shooter. Mutual aid was requested from other departments to respond to the situation. Some unconfirmed scanner reports say between eight and 20 people have been injured.

Oak Creek police are not releasing any information at this time.

According to recent information broadcast over police radio, a witness to the shooting told law enforcement the shooter was a white male, with a heavy build, bald head and wearing a sleeveless T-shirt. He was last seen with two handguns.

Scanner reports indicated that as of 11:40 a.m. that suspect may still be at large. Police have closed a portion of Howell Avenue and traffic is being diverted.

  2. I've caught most of my pics right on the normal beatin path. Seems maybe since it's so hot there just keeping it simple. I have lots of doe action with fawns. Haven't seen a buck yet i'm hoping in the next month or so when it starts cooling off they will start moving more.

  3. Dom I feel your pain, I was at some state land that I hunt today and there was DEC in there looking for " road hunters " I guess some scum has been back there shooting deer off the seasonal roads. No sooner did I walk 200 yards more and there was a guy and his son that had a tree stand stolen. It's horrible to think that I don't even want to go back to that land anymore. Between the poaching and the people running around stealing stands im threw with that!

  4. Drive down to a local Tractor Supply. They get trailers shiped in sitting on big foam blocks. I take 9 of them and stack them 3x3 held together with a rachet strap. They will stop a broadhead. And last a while, shoot one out and just pop a replacement back in. The place I go to has pallets of them stacked up in the back and are glad to get rid of them.

Thanks for that tip, works out really good for me since I live near tractor supply. I will be trying that.

    Thanks again, Bill.

  5. I bought my son a lifetime sportsman and lifetime bowhunting licence when he was only 4 years old. I paid $250 for the sportsman (free turkey and doe tags included) and $125 for the bowhunting. He's 17 now, so he'll get my moneys worth!!

Thats very cool, I never knew you could get a license at that age.

  6. Phade chances are I will be getting a sight with multiple pins, i'm thinking about getting a good sight with 4 pins and hopefully i'll only have to get the one.

And as far as the quiver i'll be looking into a nice detachable one. Hope to make a really nice combo that I can use for years and maybe pass down to a family member so it can be there first bow also.

Thanks for the tips guys i'll post a pic when its done and see what you all think!

    Bill.
