about 30 feet from my last blood, had slid down a ledge and got stuck by/under a blowdown.

I don't understand how it can be moving through thick brush, and not smearing blood on saplings etc. just spray on ground or things a few inches above ground. tallest thing was about a two foot high leaf. Also don't understand how you can have multiple drops so close together, then poof. gone.
