im not sure but they sure seem tough! even the case is waterproof... it does have a tube mount... ive seen vids of them being used to film pretty tough stuff... its brand new so the warrant should cover any damage, if they are as good as ive heard tho i would think they are pretty shockproof... http://gopro.com/

No he cant, it is my choice to obey the laws, and i have chosen to obey them. the rules can change at times.... several reasons: first because i only got into deer hunting two years ago and crossbows have only been legal one year, second bows cost money and i dont have much of that, so i bought a gun first (this past year), my first year of hunting i just borrowed a gun, third im not SURE i would choose a xbow over a compound but xbows are easier in my opinion... fourth xbows ARE "cool" they are lots of fun to shoot (my cousins have some that we shoot) altho compounds are fun too (ive shot both) i cant say i never will use a compound but i made it a personal goal to 1st: shoot a deer, 2nd: shoot a buck, 3rd: move on to shoot bigger and better deer and also possibly get into bow hunting... those are just my personal goals so far ive gotten 1 and 2 accomplished im not sure what you are saying that i will be "imposing" on your "tradition" please explain...

it was around 5 bucks for the hooks (i got a spare) the rest of the stuff we have in our shop...and it only should take a few hours to build... in my opinion not only will i get satisfaction out of building and using it myself but i also am saving money... win win.... (i would buy the lead sled if i had the money tho)

is this a good idea? im looking to try to film a turkey hunt... im not sure if you can understand the drawing but what you should see is a front view of a cellphone case mounted on a steel strip that has a hole drilled in it that you could take the end cap off the shotgun mag and slide the strip on and screw the cap back on and use it to film....

i know because ive heard about it many many times from older hunters... im not knocking the "tradition" if you want to hunt that way thats your choice but i have the right to hunt my own way with my own equipment and no one on earth can change that... i fully support compound bow hunters as well as recurve but if i want a xbow no one can stop me from building or buying one... those people were not starving, in many ways they were smarter than us!!! and yes i do believe that they argued over things like this, they were humans just like us, and all the humans ive ever seen dont like changes, unless of course they think they will benefit themselves, it dont matter if its good for other people or not... for example in the midieval ages crossbows were invented to make it easier than a "traditional" bow in warfare... actually xbows have been around hundreds of years longer than compound bows... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossbows no im not off my rocker im a perfectly sane guy who believes some things that you dont like or agree with...

Yes mainly for Shooting although I may use it for cleaning (didn't think of that)... I am planning some changes from the original pic I got the idea from... for example: the front adjustable legs I will prob weld a handel on so its easy to adjust. Also I've been thinking about maby making the block that the U hook screws into longer w multiple 5/16th holes in it so I can adjust it for longer or shorter guns, also maby a piece of tire tube w two holes stretched over the top of the U to help hold the gun a bit... wadda ya think? Good idea? Any other suggestions? I wanna go work on it but w temps in the teens its hard to convince myself too! I need inspiration!

nice! thats exactly what the vendors wanted to happen... either change rules or go out of buisness... i gotta tell ya those celebs that were gonna be there and big companys (ralph an vicki, weishun, cabelas ect ect) have earned my respect in a HUGE way!!!! i didnt think they had the guts to say no but they do!!! cabelas has earned my buisness even more than before!!!

just cause the police "chief" supports it dont mean his officers are gonna listen if he says "boys today your gonna go grab guns" esp if they know they might be met by a fight... the chief is not like a sheriff who has power to refuse to obey fed laws (i think, correct me if im wrong)

WOW you guys crack me up!!! same old thing back when compounds came out... everybody hated them and they were so unsporting and blah blah blah but almost EVERY one of those guys that hated em, shoot compounds today... sorry guys if you dont like xbows but they are the new thing and it is impossible to stop them from becoming the rage, just like compounds... i like em and if you dont, too bad.... you dont have too
