What do you do if a deer comes up from behind or on your weak side with that ? I always try to guess where they will come from, and position accordingly, but almost as often as not, I guess wrong. With a swivel chair, or the tree hammock, I can silently turn for the shot.
I can easily think of two bucks, where exactly that happened. One was a photogenic 9-pointer, that snuck thru the woods behind me on the day after Thanksgiving last year just after sunset, as I watched over a clover plot.
The other, was that infamous Texas heart shot Adirondack 6-point, that snuck up behind me as I sat in the tree hammock chair. Each of those would have likely survived a bit longer, if I had not had an easy and quiet rotating chair.
my back always points down wind, odds are in my favor one wont approach me on the ground from down wind. not impossible but not likely

I teach MS - 8 minutes from home. When my three kids were all also in MS there were plenty of days I just drove past my street cause I had my fill of MS'ers and needed more time than 8 minutes to recharge before dealing with my own!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalki did that today and i have a 40 minute drive

Happy to hear you guys ponied up and finally paid your two fines:
1. Lack of diversity
2. The murder of buckle by a board member*
*Buckle was the second most popular Instagram animal behind Harambe
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ProThe harvesting of buckle was to send a message .

I won my 7mm-08 at a gun raffle four years ago and it has become my go to deer rifle. My .270 and .308 are great but I don’t find myself grabbing them as much.
I do want to get a lever 30-30 someday, the history of that caliber just makes me itch to take down a deer with it!
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI picked up a Henry 30 30 a few years and shot a few deer with it so far ,it does a wonderful job.

I thought everyone just bought Moogs bows? I know I do
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ProThat doesn't leave any options for the rest of us

The 30 30 has probably killed more deer then all the other calibers listed combined ,it's a solid choice.

fancy. looks good. definitely jealous of the SET system. My primary hunting bow that's now a Bowtech is old tech now. Tunability with these new bows to eliminate horizontal and vertical nock travel is more valuable than people who just casually shoot bows understand. bows can be so accurate now without messing shims or other pain in the A** stuff. In the past with nock travel you sometimes had to except you could stack broadheads or field points just not both in the same spot without opening grouping up a little. now you can literally micro tune everything to be in perfect alignment.
It's the first brand new bow I've bought since I was 18 ,I always got everything a year or two old from classified section of archery talk.

I go because it's open but sitting in a stand all sweaty really does take the enjoyment out of it.

I challenge Bizs accusations. As a kid my grandmother lived on long Island. When we would visit she would make this as a side dish to her corned beef. They are available downstate.
You'll have to excuse our Connecticut friend. His culinary skill set is rather limited you might say.

Do you still associate with that person?
I only knew them through this site, a very active member too. These were used cameras and for anyone trying to read through the lines these cameras were not sold to me by the member who typically sells or has access to cameras.

Most people don't like a thief............... But I guess it depends on who stole your money................
I bought some cameras from a member, I was told they worked like should ,they were so abused ,one of them wouldn't take night pictures ,some how one of the brass threaded inserts was torn out of the other. I would consider that thievery also.

How much will the site pay me to rep their logo is the bigger question.
