Four Season Whitetail's

CWD is doing nothing anywhere and never will. We had it here back in 2005 with no other cases. For years they were saying it was a folded prion and now they are saying that its caused by an infection? So many wasted lives and unneeded killings. CWD has never killed a deer.

Very well possible. But such is life. There are winners and losers in everything in life, As long as the playing field started out fair the chips will fall where they shall. In business the ones that can see the future trends and be ready for that change will always be on top of the cutting edge and will profit from such.

Money talks in todays world and if a meat hunter wanted to pay the price on one of my properties i would not care. Everyone will have the same chance as the other i am sure. But...I would have to say you would be right that it will be the drive for bigger deer that will drive hunting whichever way it goes. Thats because the numbers are and will continue to be swayed to the side of inches over meat. The hunters that are driven for antlers get just as much meat or more because big mature deer own lots of meat.

Yeah and a few on here that have posted crap on other threads wont touch this question with a 10 foot pole. Good thing because they would have to answer this question with an honest answer and when they did they would then get their responses on others threads shoved up their ---. I would also guess the more research you do you will find how much big antlers drive the hunting world. More so in other better hunting states that have DEC/DNR folks that know how to manage a herd and set seasons and harvest limits.

No FSW said that hunters are drivin by antlers. Most every hunter hopes for the biggest beast in the woods to step out while they are sitting on watch! Period. Thats the best part of having the best of both worlds. I am lucky enough to be involved on both sides of the fence. Best part about it is that there is no difference in either. Just that one side has a little more money than the other but both sides are drivin by the same need.

You really think anyone on this site is coming here to pay me 7-10 grand for a 190-200 inch whitetail buck? Wrong! Even if they wanted to it would not be possible because i cant raise enough for my regular buyers. Selling 30--40 bucks a year is plenty to keep me where i like to be every year.

Its doomed now at even the young school children level. Teachers in schools downplay gun's and the killing of animals. For every new child hunter that is into it there are 100 that are totally against it. That is why it will be a landowner only kinda thing and you will either pay for the land, Pay the other guy for use of the land or go hook up at your local hunting ranch in the future. Yeah i have been saying that for years. The ones that say they get a big rise out of any deer has never had a true big racked mature buck in their sight. I have helped 2 guys get their first 120 inch plus buck in bow season on the park and neither one of them will kill a smaller buck again. They said that feeling was the only feeling they want when it comes to hunting and they are not tapping out early with a small buck and totally end their chance at that real feeling again. They shoot does at will for their freezers.

Same here. But i still have the 'Rise" when i 'Hunt' and find one of the mature bucks i am 'Hunting". To harvest one of those bucks just makes it sweeter. My bar has risen to...I have to find the mature bucks in my area and hunt and harvest only those bucks or one as big or mature that happens to move in. A lot of this happens on state land open to anyone so it even makes the game a little tougher. Most guys at camp look at my phone of the bucks i just watch and let walk and say i'm nut's. Many will never feel the real rise and feel of their knees shaking at the sight of a big mature buck.

Not a problem when you retire in your 40's from selling big racked deer to hunters in Ny state. I have all day to sleep if the need arises, Not a problem

This is what happen's when a person matures as a real hunter at its truest form. After one kills so many deer its not real tough anymore and you have to raise the bar and that bar is age and inches. Does not take much of a 'Hunter' to go out and shoot fawns and yearlings. Now if half of these guys that call themselves so called hunters had to hunt in areas where they could only kill mature bucks you would see them fold like a cheap suit after a couple of years. There are hunters and then there are guys that sit in the woods and kill deer. Dont see to many wanting to respond to the Op's real questions?

Trust me if all these people you say read these words are not into Big racked healthy bucks shown what they can look like at young age's they would not have anything to do with a business that grow's, Sell's and promotes nothing but hunters taking big mature animals instead of shooting baby bucks. You dont have to worry about very many Real Hunters killing your fawns and baby bucks. Until Ny ever puts Ar in all of Ny and then your screwed and stuck with doe's and fawns. That lets you earn your name as a Hunter.

LOL....Some of these weekend warriors that hunt maybe 10 days a year and have never killed a buck over 100 inches would be the guys that want you to listen to their hunting skills. And they call themselves hunters. You know the ones that enjoy the journey of killing the first yearling or fawn that steps out. You want to kill big deer you need to hang with proven hunters with multiple big deer under their belt and accept nothing less. You then will kill those mature bucks on your property.

Yeah and keep showing you cant even pay attention long enough to just go look at post after post about hunters on this site talking nothing but big bucks. That crack on hit list only a Tv thing can be proven wrong numerous times if you wanted to see it.

If you could read you would look at First and Crappy posts and see who brought my farm into the picture AGAIN with talk of how big my deer are and how much money i make. My farm name will never change and really do you think my business has ever or will ever gain or loss any income from this site? Bullshit...I said antlers draw and push most all hunters in the woods in one way or another and i show you in black and white time after time. I can imagine nobody in Vermont would have a hit list. They are lucky to see a whitetail.

My God man...Do i have to really walk you over to the trail cam thread and actually copy and paste all the people on this site that put up pics of the bucks on their property and yet only speak of the biggest? Maybe just go to the post Biz just put up. Pic's of a whole bunch of bucks yet the biggest 8pt in the series he speaks of as his target buck? The only thing different about the other deer is the 8pt has a little larger rack. Most have same size body and couple are probably the same age? Just the way it is for most hunters.
