    You also show up on a hunting website and have never show or talk hunting but always show your save the vermin pictorial. New folks can pick out the hunters on the site as they can pick out the weekend warriors that try and pretend that they can talk hunting and then guys like you that have no hunting at all.     They have been trying that for years. The whole problem is that the bear population is just not there in any numbers and park visitors do not see them so they throw a fit when a season pops up. If you watch their facebook page a bear sighting is as rare as a Rattlesnake sighting and it grabs great attention. Pretty sure thats why they kept the bear season on the down low to begin with. 3 bears were harvested on the Park and i am still wondering why there was a hero shot and big write up on this one? Was this info from the Park reporting pic's and info to the news/newspaper or was it the hunter that supplied all this to the news/newspaper?

    Kinda like the same predictable response others give to those same members that dont believe there should be a season on Songbirds in any state. Year after Year the same outcome will be seen. More would rather enjoy Songbirds than kill them. maybe they should put their effort into getting an open season on the Vermin that killed all the game birds and then they might be able to get small game back in the state to hunt so they wont have to make up a Songbird season so they have something to hunt.

    No Doubt. The Park removed the post on that site because of the negative press. I like the statement from the lady about seeing signs about Lyme disease but didnt know anything about hunting. Its only been going on there for 30 plus years that i am aware of.

    Thanks. I guess we all must know our limitations. Some of us dont get a thrill out of killing baby animals or Songbirds.

    But then none of the mouths on here step up for the challenge? The is cockyness and then there is confidence... there is a difference. I have no problem backing up any words but seems like others just like to talk the talk . You have to remember this is a hunting site and all you ever put on here is about protecting the Vermin and birds and have never put anything on here about hunting. Said it a long time ago that you are more a part of PETA than any hunting group. We all know you are just sad that i kill and promote the killing of the useless vermin you so much love to feed and save. If you would ever like to step up and take the challenge maybe you could prove me wrong? Offer is open!

    They have tried to push this crap for years. Birdwatchers numbers alone against the bill will triple any hunter numbers for it I would guess. Shooting a Songbird? Yup. Probably won't go over well for most. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Some of us better hunters kinda like to make the game a little tougher. Kinda goes right along with shooting those baby bucks. After so many years the game gets way to easy for some of us.     Says the guy that is not hunter enough to pull off a spot and stalk on a mature Tom. You and your brother think you have what it takes to get a Dove season in Ny then have at it. I'm telling ya it's highly doubtful there will ever be a season on a Songbird in Ny state! In my opinion of course but I myself along with the majority as it seems after all these failed attempts have and will continue to voice loudly against it. Simple! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Maybe plenty in YOUR area of the Tier. Maybe they can set up a season at Montezuma. I hear there are a couple down there that people watch and Listen to. Antlers are only 1 of the things deer farmers are Obsessed with. Most are obsessed with the great living it provides$

    Everyday...Can't get much better the way i see it. Still wont make me agree on a season of a songbird who's numbers alone in many parts are none. We cut 3000 acres of hay in this area will almost 500 in a landowner Govt paid bird sanctuary and still only see a pair here and there. Ya i would say a season would be the last thing needed in most parts of the state.

    Wont see no crying here but will see plenty of words against it. This will most likely go into the same trash can every other talk of songbird season has went. The birdwatchers numbers alone against something this stupid will be enough to shoot this down. Let alone hunters either against it or dont give two craps about it and will do nothing. Just another Year! Maybe you should put a link up so we can all contact those needed to be contacted?

    Ya Ok.....All kinds of hunters pushing for a songbird season. You need to go hang out with that other guy that used to be here. Lets waste more cash that could be used for something worthwhile that more than a handful of hunters may do. Like maybe getting some small game back in the woods. Wonder where they all went? Ya, Bright Idea!

    We are 3 hours from camp so we just winterize it well and say see ya in the spring. If you were going for a few days on the sleds or something i could see it but to just walk in and heat the place up a few hours i'm not so sure.

    On top of that they are a rare Songbird in many parts of the state. Would end up wasting all hunters money having to stock birds for the few that would chase them..Like Pheasant's, Feeding of the Vermin and dead birds that cant make it thru a winter in many parts of the state. We will never see a songbird season.

    Without a doubt the antler is the biggest part of the picture but everyone knows Mr Hankey is the creator and rules the fate of all.

    You will do just fine in the learning curve by taking advise from most on this site. Of course as you see you sure dont want advice from a few on here if you want to continue moving up thru your hunting life. Congrats on the first couple. Bigger things are sure to come.
