    Kinda shows the true story when hunters even have to go after big racks even when they cant kill the deer that carried them. It's all about the bone. Always has and Always will.

    He should agree with the truth. There was never a more useless vermin ever made than a coyote. Does nothing for the land or the ecosystem. They could all fall off the earth right at this moment and life would not miss a beat. Useless!!!

    I get it...(Guessing=Formula )and using numbers reported( But of course not those not reported) to do their part in managing game numbers to make decisions for the following year.

    I understand the Op's question. If DEC is not managing the game( Deer Numbers), Who is in control on guessing the numbers of deer we have each year and how many extra or even less doe tags would be needed the following year to reflect those numbers?

    Kinda what my point was? They have no clue on whats really happening as hunters are not going to report what they are doing or what they harvest. So DEC has no part of guessing how many deer we have every year or how many were harvested or how many tags should be issued the following season?

    ???? Is it not the DEC who gets the harvest reports and such and have the job of keeping track of deer numbers and harvests? My point was more to numbers and harvest and who is doing what and not so much on who was making/changing laws.

    A couple guys up here were speaking kinda the same language as this. It really is Sad as what they say you pretty much need to be in a chair or limbs missing. These same guys now use their crossbows on their own properties. Which in turn will effect harvest report numbers if they reply at all. Kinda like the husband using the wives and kids tags. DEC has no clue of the true big picture.

    And yet another stupid unproven comment about something you have no knowledge of. I will just give one off many. State of Illinois over 500 cases in the wild yet none behind fence? Yup....Stupid Comments!

    And i know of 3 people up here that are as clean as fresh fallen snow that are on month 15 without as much as a word about their permit's.

    Thats the part i think some are not getting.............Those that make the rules-laws will not go by...Its how you shoot the thing....They are going to go with...........What kills the animals. If animals dies with sharp arrow it will be archery=== Kills with bullet it will be gun season. Will not matter what propels what but what kills what.

    Call it what you will but i believe it will get put into archery season....If it even becomes legal...Because of the fact that it kills with arrow and it does not use gun powder. Powder=Gun Arrow=Archery

    Your forgetting about all the ones that dont want guns used....Any Guns? I would not put anything past Ny when it comes to changes. Less chance of shooting a person, Could hunt closer to the cities. I am sure a whole list of positives could come out if some were to sit down and think about it.

    Make sure the calipers were not put on the wrong sides? Sounds stupid but happens a lot. Bleeders up. Never have heard of water in the line? Thats kinda how they try to get you to buy a brake fluid flush. Causes more problems then what started with. They should have the Snap On Modem to bleed the lines.

    Its called archery season for anything that fires an arrow with a sharp piece of metal on its tip. Will not matter what propels the arrow as long as its the arrow that causes the demise of said animal. Bring It On.
