  1. Not Here....I am a deer hunter that hunts every season possible. If the state wants bigger deer and better hunting its not Ar that is the best tool.. 1 buck,Shorter seasons and no guns in the rut is what makes great states great.
  2. Just about every hunter i know kills to bucks a year...And for many of them its both yearling bucks. One buck rule would save a pile of bucks during a hunting season. Shorten the season and take guns out of the rut and things would really get pretty...
  3. Great Words! I was ready for this like 28 pages ago....Except i i believe i signed up for mandatory Ar way before these pages were started.
  4. Thats why this post is up...Ny is finally doing something right to change the label and of being the worst deer hunting state in the country. QDMA has nothing to do with it really........Just the ones that use the cloak of QDMA to practice their TDMA.
  5. Not even close to enough ECO's out there to even make this bill a good thing. Yes it will hurt the few that get caught but most will carry on without much fear. I know around here we dont have to worry to much about their showing up. Just never see them except maybe riding around on the Snow Scooter checking tip up's. Must do Check Stations and returning tags would go further in stopping xtra deer getting shot.
  6. Shows you are post QDMA Fourms. Maybe you should ask the boys in Minnesota how the Assoc worked for them. Really? Branch of the year? Lol. Givin to the Top 10 worst place in the country to hunt? I would guess the dues paid all went South?
  7. Yeah problem is I have the state on my side. One would think someone like you would know this? Farmers get so many things givin to us!
  8. No you said above you will still continue killing the baby bucks even if they DONT fit the bill for what DEC says is a legal buck. No lecture needed with that way of thinking. Says a lot on the class of the hunter thats for sure!
  9. Problem is now you wont be able to kill all those baby spike and crotch horn bucks you seem to enjoy killing. Now you will either learn to find a little more mature one or hope one happens your way. So you will in fact buy a buck tag and may not be able to fill it and you can break the law and continue to kill those baby bucks. A lot of baby fawns and yearling does left out there for ya!
  10. You have never seen the..Top 10? We are 10 in both the worst place to ever go deer hunt because of the high yearling kills and the worst state to live because .............................. well one can pick off of that list.
  11. Worst place in the country to Hunt Worst place in the country to live Fastest growing numbers? Strange........
  12. The way it's being talked about in many circles it very well may get all the support needed?
  13. Some dont have the time to put in...Some dont have the skill to put in...Some dont have the want or see the need for change...Some will leave the sport...Many will find better hunting! Cant keep everybody happy!
  14. Personal choice Yes? You still attracted those deer to that spot by using food and the deer's need to have it. Pile or Plant is still doing the same attracting.
  15. Attraction is still attraction either way you look at it and you are still using the animals need to eat as a tool to kill it. Just makes some feel like they are doing it better by putting a little labor in planting the corn seed to make more corn rather than filling the feeder.
  16. Its all about the bone..........There are many other ways to keep the females in check. But you still cant kill a deer of either sex on land you cant get on.
  17. Not so sure? Seems like the ones that have been around are still going strong and new ones pop up. Your right, to each their own!
  18. That's the perk of living in this country. They can do whatever they want and people can choose not to watch but many do and they make a very big paycheck while doing it. Trophy deer are big money regardless of where their at or how their shown.
  19. Well i guess this fits in with Ny perfect, Cant feed this deer or that deer and you cant shoot this deer or that deer. List goes on. And many wonder why some do what they want to do, when they want to do it on their own heavy taxed piece of property in Ny.
  20. Biz...Dont forget that Pea Shooter in their hands that will kill out to 1000 yards with top of the line scopes and such.
  21. Yes just went back and reread it. It was that guy. It's on a post on Syracuse.com. Says he supports it like most hunters do?
