I am a Boiler Operator for a hospital in Upstate N.Y. The gas company put us on temporary "no gas usage" for our 3 Boilers. We are now primarly on oil for the 9th day. These boilers produce the steam needed for the hospital and we are burning between 125-140 gallons of #2 fuel oil per hour! About $490 per hour in oil or $11,760 a day(24 hour) !! Hopefully this cold snap quits its $hit asap, so we can go back to Natural Gas!!! *We are getting fuel deliveries every other day burning through 3000+ gallons a day-

Nice buck! What kind of buck call (grunt) are you using?

I do have the bow license, and filled my doe tag on the 15th, so I would have to use my buck tag for regular season but I love bow hunting more than rifle! Thanks everyone for the clarity.

I thought about tieing small pieces of thread or yarn to a few branches around my stand so i could see multiple areas, not sure how good it will work ? Im sure the deer wont care!

Thanks for all the responses guys! I couldnt wait until Dec 9th. I filled my doe tag and my freezer but still have my buck tag and have an oppotunity to take one this season.

Several people have told me that I can still bow hunt..is this true? My father said no becuase of our zone..GUN ONLY..any help will be appreciated! 4K ......

I havent been able to make it out alot this bow season (my 6th time out this year), but I finally took a Doe at 4:30 this evening! Pretty cool becuase of the last day for bow until Dec 9th... I will post some pics tomorrow when my father emails me the photos! GOOD LUCK to all the rifle / shotgun hunters in the morning..
