At my camp as well as a friend's property we drag at gut. I have a spot for guts & carcasses. Wma, where they drop generally. For me it's not really a oder spook thing I am just trying to keep yokes from my stands.

Well it sounds like allot of extra work to me but then again I have a 20 yard range & 3d in the backyard.

I remember doing some warm up shooting with a friend who bow hunts we took turns recovering arrows & jazz.

Days like this make me glad I have refrigeration at camp.

Try to get some jazz done at home just have to seriously pace myself. Take nessesary breaks and have plenty of juice & water nearby.

[Summer Projects Done?]

Need to clear off old concrete pad corner of back yard, also involves getting rid of an old car & killing off vines & cap growing around it. Pad might be in rough shape but I can deal with that. It's flat where I can install a steel shed.

[Shooting a Bow - Standing or Sitting ?]

Took one of my best bucks off wma just after sitting down in the climber. I swear that frigging buck was 25 yards out starring up at me but he went around some jazz giving me time to get up and have my bow ready. So that only 1/2 counts

Prefer standing. There's just more room for the shot. Having said that I took a nice buck after sitting down from a ladder stand.

Couple of exceptions perhaps. Maybe you have some cams out telling a different story. After a few outings you just might feel like breaking it up. Maybe your hunting after a storm front, or waiting for the flying monkeys to take a nap.

[Plot clearing mistake]

So I'm weed wacking a w/r plot perimeter the other day. I look down and notice some chewed up oak leaves. Realized didnt I just rip down a young wild grown oak.

Was a little upset with myself.

Well at least the apple & chestnuts see to be doing ok.
