I just get some fatty pork shoulder ground at the local butcher shop, and mix 1 lb pork per 5 or 6 lbs of venison and it comes out great. I also recommend Penzey's breakfast sausage seasoning, and their venison sausage seasoning.

Frickin sweet rig. I went out a couple nights this summer when they cut our fields, no customers. My uncle has a nuisance permit on the neighboring land, supposed to be getting one for the bear that's harassing the horses and trying to break into the rabbit/turkey/chicken coops.

Relax fellas. Odds are the hosting service added the ads, and an upgrade to the site triggered the new ranking system. I'm sure it will eventually be tweaked, but it's not in any way inhibiting your ability to lie about fish length / antler size / beard lengths.

Takes me about 2 hours for a peg stand, 1 hour for a ladder. 45 minutes of that is trimming with the pole saw though.

That bullet had probably killed more game then any other bullet being made. Big fan myself will work just fine in that crush rib sabot .
I actually do have a big box of the hornady 300 gr, I also have some 275 gr of the barnes xpbs as well, the 200 gr were shooting mighty flat with 100 gr by volume of the bh209 between 50 / 100 / 150. THe other bullets performed very consistently, just naturally with more drop. I'm a lousy hand at telling the difference on the fly between 100 and 150+ so that would be my preference.

I can't find those Barnes XPB .451 200 gr in stock anywhere online right now. Did order some Crush Rib sabots from Cabelas.
Glad I stocked up on BH209 last year, because thats impossible to find right now too.
