That was different. In the Browns game he was concussed and not allowed to return. Then he passed protocol during the week before the Bills game.

This year the Bills have a crazy easy schedule en route to the # 1 seed. So they just have to win 2 home playoff games and they are in the super bowl.

Tennessee has the tie breaker, possible they have to go there if they make the championship game.  But I hope you're right!

    Return it.

On sale for a reason; I can go into detail, but return it. Complete dud in their line.

I won't steer my customers wrong, and for $5.50 more, I can get you the 2021 Max HD Plus that is a much better cam.

Should have read this before I deployed it.  I'll try and get it before a week is over and do the return.

    Follow up.

Good advice to buy this reel. Thanks all.

Used it during the summer and although plans evolved and I dropped the saltwater portion of my trip, it’s performance is top notch. Well worth taking it as outfitters equipment is tired and needs an upgrade.

Tigerfish, Lower Zambezi, It was warm especially in ‘the Gorges’ well into the 100’s everyday. This is fed from Kariba dam and water runs cooler with a fair amount of current.

Ranged from fingerlings to a 9lb’er (with the boga) Lots of Hippo attracts lots of baitfish the feed on the dung and provides plenty of tigers around to snack on them. Snagged one Hippo with a Yozuri and it almost spooled my braid line, it was not happy.

I love your stories from Africa, read about those fish a bunch.  Awesome pictures!

I recently talked to a younger hunter, who told me he uses his AR with 223 VMax varmint ammo on deer??? Said most of his shots were less than 100 yards. He showed me pictures of a couple of the respectable bucks he has killed using this set up. Also says he likes being the driver on deer drives, carrying his AR ! He does have better options available to him. But prefers to carry the AR in 223??? Also says the 55g VMax leaves a good blood trail. I kind of disagreed with him a bit, and he told me most everyone else did too. But said he was more than happy with the results he's had, and will continue doing it.

Now I know a deer can be killed with a 22LR. But I just don't think a 223 in thick cover is the best option.

What do you guys think? I think he's pushing the envelope just a little bit.

I think I've seen bucks run 400 yards with 150gr holes in both lungs, not being chased.  Sooner or later it will probably bite him.  Not sure why you'd do it if you have better options available?

Probably my last update. Room is done, it’s a bit of mess as hunting gear is a bit strewn about - and I’m OK with that in season lol - but we did add on the two wall peds from 2020. I was hoping to do a barrel mount with the three 2020 bucks but I just don’t have room in there. Mostly because I need one bare wall as the background for work video meetings.

I’ll add a beverage cooler and probably add in some of my euro mounts, and a shed rope off the desk pipes to hold sheds I’ve collected. Outside that it is time to enjoy it and hopefully be forced to swap out a mount with a new 2021 deer. Lord willing.

Well I'm pretty sure this is the buck and the last pic is coyotes eating him. I found him laying dead not even 15 yards from where he laid down in the pic. Right where those yotes are. I'm thinking either ehd or shot by another hunter and then the dogs found hima2b931202cccc233cbcc88f6abe62ba2.jpg32ba7edb19b75f04cd815c49157ab6e0.jpg4778934f98c3d30f281c6caa364de90b.jpg126bd0aa8ab85bf95ba8ee751a68a75e.jpgac5ea85ff8d96121b1d4cbffdca03a24.jpg

I've heard scuttlebutt that CWD is down here in the valley.....  They found some neat the railroad tracks last fall?

  7. I know it's from this year, but this one is going to be hard to beat.  Another successful hunt that my dad got to be there for.  He doesn't shoot much these days but he's always just as happy when I get one.  I'm Walking behind the quad as he's puffing his pipe and happy as a clam.  Another evening in the woods with the old man, have to love them while I still got them.
