i envy you guys who say let him live another year. i hunt down in 3m and deer like that are bucks of a lifetime. I gota go hunt some bigger woods

i work at west point and you shouldn't hunt anywhere other than west point land itself. 12 pointers plus are seen regularly all over the area especially on post. you should def look into getting a bow because you have more opportunity. PM me if you have anymore questions.

didnt get a deer with the bow saw numerous big deer lets hope i just see them tomorrow hahaha

in my exp the wind is the most crucial thing. They are more keen on the wind than deer. go all out wash all yur cloths in scent free detergent. spray yourself down even use scent waffers. i have had better luck in the middle of the woods rather than fields. Its hard to get them to cross fields. at least for me. They are also very smart if you get one to come in make your shots count because if you dont you just educated him and he will educate the others.

so are doe only bred once?

today while sitting in the woods for the majority of the day. I noticed three good sized bucks chasing a herd of doe id say about 5. Well later in the night this herd came underneath me and i saw 2 full grown doe and there were 3 yearlings two being button bucks. The one does fur was all messed up, basically looking like shes ready to breed. Wouldn't she leave her group while breeding or do you think she isn't ready yet?

got this nice buck on my camera numerous times in the past 4 days. shows up about 645 every night

im gonna try and get down in there with a climber and make a day out of it

the wind was really blowing today as it was for the last couple so i decided to try a new spot. I wen t down a ridge to get out of the wind. its a really thick spot. As i walked in i spooked three bucks idk if they knew i was a human. we had a starring contest for about 10 minutes and then they swiftly walked off. I was about 60 yards away from them. This area had a lot of sign around. I could def tell they have been bedding here alot. I then noticed two massive scrapes with a lot of tracks in them and broken twigs above pretty high to. the scrapes were side by side and i could tell that they are being visited.Two bucks that i saw were big deer with big racks. it really isnt ideal for a climber in there but there are a couple spots. how would you hunt it?

i hunt the southern zone 3m to be exact, saw a lot of bucks last weekend and now i cant even spot a doe. Is anyone else seeing deer? im guessing it has to do with this weather

i went in the woods today and as i was walking to my stand i could hear this loud blowing noise, ive heard bucks do this before. It was just very repetitive and loud. what does this mean?

its gonna be pretty windy tomm 20+ miles an hr in southern zone what does everyone thinkl about that?
