  1. I searched the forum and googled and only came up with only a couple of processors somewhat near Oneonta. Would appreciate recommendations. Might be putting the horse before the cart because I haven't killed my deer yet but right now would be a good time to know. Thanks guys and good luck Saturday!!
  2. Young bucks having a brawl This is about 15 yards in front of my ground blind.
  3. Good advice. Much appreciated. Thanks moog & stone.
  4. Viper has arrived. Footrest installed . Heading to the property this weekend. Looking forward to my first climb.... Thanks all for your input and hopefully others can benefit from the comments shared here.
  5. I have 3 of them that I've left for the 2nd season now and luckily have had no problems. Good luck.
  6. Awesome Pictures. Very clear and sharp.
  7. Summit Viper SD on the way! Thanks all for your responses and recommendations. Have a great weekend!
  8. Chris do you use a fanny pack or a backpack somehow?
  9. That's seems to be the way most have gone from he research I've done. I will tell you that this past weekend I put up a Muddy Hunter ladder stand and that thing is nice! Like the nylon washers provided-keeps it quite. I think that is probably I'm in the position of still considering the Woodsman but I am leaning towards the Viper. Just the fact that it's made in the USA and not china, which I didn't realize about the Muddy products before. Thanks all for your comments and do appreciate hearing more. Hopefully this will help others make a decision if they are researching climbers.
  10. In the process of deciding on which climber to buy. Considering the Muddy Woodsman or the Summit Viper SD. Was wondering if anyone was using either and could provide some feedback. I did a search but didn't really get an insight as to the + or - of either one. Would appreciate anyone with experience with either of these. Thanks
  11. Thanks Jaeger. I have the Woodlesigh manual as well and saw that. Also the same for the Hawks bullets. both inidicate to start at 5% lowerr than indicated in load manuals-for Hawk they state to use loads of simialr compositon. I'm working on the seating aspect using my datum measuring kit. Thanks for the info
  12. I will say that the Woodleighs look more refined than the Hawks. I am more impressed with the Woodleighs but tha may change once I make a range trip. Just ordered more Woodleighs for the 6.5 x 284 and & Rem Mag.The Woodleighs have a nice cannelure on them. I also found that on the 45-70's no matter how much I crimped the bullet still turned in the case. It won't move up or down but there is some movement. Just my opinion initially.
