I heard somewhere that the four days leading up to the full moon (which is tonight) are supposed to be really active time for daylight dear movement. Tomorrow and Friday are prime mid day hunting days. I'm planning on getting out there when I get out of work on Friday!

Seems like lots of versions of the same story here. So for a new comer like myself, in the event you kill a doe first, of the tags you are issued with your license you should use the ml/bow tag? True or false?

I was talking to a guy who lives in western Suffolk county ( Long Island) yesterday. He works night and goes home in the wee hours of the morning. When he got home there was a big 6 pointer in the driveway. Full head gear intact. Must be really good eats around there.
Hey there. I've been lurking on the site for a bit and thought I'd get involved. I know this isn't a intro page so I'll get to it. I have been out 10 or so times in my area in Long Island hunting down sheds with no success. Am I correct in assuming this unusually cold weather is a reason bucks might be holding on to there gear longer?
