I'd go right after xmas With them deer being pressured u will find the best bedding u can find when they feel safe I go from dec 26 all the way till the end of march Always find the best primary beds from after hunting until about the end of january

Today we had a group of 5 of us hunting stateland in filmore Not one of us seen a deer or heard a shot and we all sat until 10 30 Was wild. Figured it was due to weather keeping hunters out the woods -

Hahahaha it's crazy when u have footage and its hard to decipher what really happened I really do appreciate everyone's opinions on this I just want to feel like I didnt look for 8 hrs for no reason hahahah

Notice in the 2nd pic the shot was taken and in front of the deer on the bottom right in front of the legs looks like hair was falling out already in the front of her legs before the back

To me that hair is coming off the back side of her body that is her left leg in the frame and the hair is behind it

I can send the clip to anyone who is good at editing and can get a clear answer. I did shoot my rifle it was spot on at 50 yards and this shot I ranged it was 65

I sent the clip to my buddy who had been editing for close to 10 years a f he said the clip u have is the same clip he showed me of the bullet. The hit was not low like people are stating. I felt I didn't not graze her 100 percent like I really felt I didnt

It was factory ammo.

A 300 blackout with a 147 grain bullet. I was doing research that the bullet can travel so fast that it causes like an explosion inside the body. Is it possible that at that range at 65 yards the velocity was so fast and it could have caused internal organs or tissue to clog the holes ? I went frame for frame and got a still image in the video of the bullet hole

I was level with her on the ground she was across the drainage and she was just slightly quartering away. I put the cross hairs just a little bit behind the front shoulder so I can blow out opposite shoulder. Yea she was hurt when she was comming In I zoom in and slow it down further in the video I even got a pic of the frame by frame

No I let the deer sir for 30 to 40 minutes well I went to spot of impact at that time then 20 mins after that started looking

I have taken plenty of deer and I have never had anything like this happen before

It was a 300 black out it was hornady 147grain custom I shot 2 deer with same round same gun last year at further distances and they dropped right where they were standing one was at 110 yards and other at 225
