Most guys don't give a f about what they use what ever is easier for them to hunt deer they will use . You put xbow in all archery 95% will us a xbow that's a fact you can look up by the increase in xbow sells and the decrease in bow sells as more states made xbows legal . It will allso mean more gun hunters will get into archery now . Which if you just want to gun hunt or just want to bow hunt then gun hunt will have a, impact it just will .

Funny just talking to a guy in pa today he says xbow ruined archery season overthere pretty much compound bow any bow basically went bye bye . Just leave it the way it is I say . But just for your information I was using the same compound bow a pro line for about 20 years and it worked just fine nothing fancy those old bows you had to practice with to get good at . After getting a new compound this year only because the string broke just days before bow season and nobody would fix it right away and they wanted $200 which I thought was ridiculous for a string on a 20 year old bow I decided to get a new one this year . and seeing how much easier they are to shoot. day and night . I don't know why exactly someone can't just learn to use a modern compound bow if they want to hunt all of the archery season ? The new ones are so much easier to shoot. It's day and night . I'm planning on going back to a recurve actually some thing I have not used since I was a kid . Just got a new recurve this year . The one I got is 50 ib draw weight but have not picked out the proper arrows yet Since your such a expert with the recurve could you recommend what the best type of arrows for a 50ib recurve at 28 draw length is . I tried using my old compound arrows but they don't fly right at all . Should I use wood carbon or aluminum natural feather I'm assuming. But in all honesty besides just for target shooting and fun . I dont know if I will hunt with one . When my 70 ib compound has so much more kinetic energy. Just saying not sure if I will hunt with the recurve even if I get real good at it . I was I kid last time I used one probably 12 13 years old . .

I did not call anyone out they probably sell 10 or more compound bows for ever 1 recurve these days nothing to call out .about now figure the odds of that 1 percent taking a huge buck at 25 yards lol the odds are rediculusly low . Just saying .

I did not mention anyone did I but we all know it happens or just range exaggerations you no that 8 yard recurve shot magically becomes a 25 yard shot lol after the guy says the story a few times lol

(If) btw I hunt pretty much only public these days because it is much closer to my home then the private land I have permission to hunt on and that means I have to compete with the other hunters in that area all of which are going to switch to xbows and more will get into the sport because it's easier . it's like bringing a knife to a gunfight lol

Next they will be saying you don't need a gun to hunt deer . Xbow works good enough. AS soon as they have the right excuse to do so like some crazy shoots a bunch of people with a bolt action. Yea what do I know only been using bow for over 30 years . And i have a xbow also and a xbow is a lot more easy to shot in fact I could give anyone who knows how to shoot a gun a crossbow and the very first shot they take would easily be a bullseye with out teaching them anything at 30 yards now try that with a bow. Some guys can't even hit the target bag at that distance when the first try it . And that is why everyone will probably put there bows away and get the most powerful crossbow they can afford if they make xbow all of archery season . Just like recurves went bye bye with the use of compound . If you main goal is killing more deer then you will switch to a xbow . It is what it is . I mean some guys may still use them for the exstra challenge but most will switch . Just like how many guys use iron sites anymore compared to scopes

Anyone can learn to use a bow So I don't see what's the problem is . Just like anyone can learn to use a,muzzleloader and hunt that season . The way they have it now is fine. be careful for what you wish for because the Anti gun rights nuts will gladly use the xbow excuse to ban all guns from being used for hunting. You never know .

Xbow different skill set then a bow it's not archery . All guns on the other hand you shoot the same way . AIM AND SHOOT . The muzzleloaders you load different and they have there own season as well right . WITH A BOW YOU HAVE to LERN THE PROPER FORM TO SHOT ONE AND IT IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THEN SHOOTING A XBOW . DEC KNOWS IT THAT'S WHY THEY DON'T LET IT IN ALL OF ARCHERY IN THE FIRST PLACE .

If you don't have a separate season for bow . Pretty soon almost nobody will Use a bow . That's why you want a separate season for xbows It's so simple .
