  1. That looks sharp! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  2. My wife wants to give 3D a try with me so I got her a Mission Craze because I have know idea how much weight she'll be able to pull and the adjustability is nice. I put about a dozen arrows through it and was very impressed. Smooth draw, decent let off and shot consistently. My only complaint is no solid back wall. I won't be trading my Elites in for one any time soon but I think they are great bang for the buck.
  3. I just purchased a lightly used Energy 35 for shooting 3D this summer. New prices are a bit tough to swallow. I may stick to purchasing bows a year after release at half the price. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  4. I shot the Halon 32 last weekend. I was very impressed with how smooth it was. Also shot Elite Option 7 which was dead on the shot. I'd have a hard time deciding between the two. Evolve is next up on my list to shoot. I'd like to try that Prime Centergy but there are no dealers within a couple hours of me. Sent from my KFGIWI using Tapatalk
  5. Is that covert an all metal/aluminum design? Also, is the dot visible without the light turned on? I'm sure it's visible but I mean in hunting scenario if your battery died. I hadn't looked at that before but you've sparked my interest I've also been looking at the HHA DS and the Spot Hogg Fast Eddie XL. I like the dove tail on the Fast Eddie but the plastic gears make me nervous. It's been a long time since I've seen a Sight Master. Always liked the way they had that index finger yardage adjustment.
  6. Who is hunting with a single pin sight and what do you recommend? I'd like to make the change but there are so many to chose from. It will be for hunting and 3D mostly.
  7. Now that the 2017 lineups are out I'm curious to hear what everyone is shooting now and what they want to take for a test drive? I'm currently shooting an Elite Synergy. I'd like to pickup a second rig for 3D with a little more speed. Hoping to try out the new Elite Revol, Bowtech Reign and Prime Centergy.

    2017 Elite

I think that's the reason they've moved to the higher grade aluminum, preloaded limbs and more rigid riser design, to eliminate the subtle differences. But I definitely hear what you're saying. Time to get out and shoot them I guess! I'd still like to hear pricing on the rest of the lineup. Only seen MSRP for Option and Revol lines so far.

    2017 Elite

I saw that as well. It looks like the adjustabilty of the roller guard is to provide easier tuning without the yolks. Time will tell if that pans out.

I'm looking forward to shooting the Revol this spring. Has anyone heard pricing from their dealers yet? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    2017 Elite

Correct, transferable warranty was done away with in October. I was waiting to see what the new offerings were but at that price range I'll likely just pick up another Synergy. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    2017 Elite

I'm liking the new design but those $1299 & $1399 MSRP's are crazy. Waiting to see what the dealers will be charging. Sent from my GT-N5110 using Tapatalk
  13. 2011 PSE Stinger HP 50-60lb Limbs Single Cam, 75% Letoff 25" - 30" Draw 30.75" ATA / 4.2lbs I purchased this bow used over the summer and have since upgraded. The bow comes with stabilizer, 3 pin sight and quiver. Needs a rest and string. Cable is brand new and does not need replacement. I had the bow professionally tuned when I purchased it and it was pulling 27 1/8" and 61lbs. More pictures upon request. $100 and shipped free USPS to anywhere in NY or bordering states.
  14. I just purchased Hunstand and like it so far. A few little improvements and it will be awesome. I just hate how you have to move between Parcel Info and Hunting Areas and can't just display both on the same screen. Or maybe you can and I just don't know how?
  15. Google earth will show public land boundaries. You can also add your own maps as overlays in Google Earth. So although it takes some work you can save maps from you county tax map website and then add it as an overlay in google earth.
  16. This is an excellent resource! This does 2/3rds of what I've been looking for. Just wish there was a way to get it to show parcel boundaries. Is there any way to do what you've done here in google earth so custom layers could be added?
  17. I had this same concern before the season. I watched all the videos and read everything I could find and in the end I just tested it out. I'm sure it will differ from person to person but this is what I found. My blind is an Ameristep Caretaker and I'm shooting Wasp Jackhammers (mechanical 3 blade with O-ring) at ~295FPS. I fired 30 shots between 20 and 30 yards at different angles and the biggest POI variance I saw was 4" and quite honestly that shot was probably me. Most shots were within 2" of where I would expect which is close enough for me. I agree with others though, while I originally started the season with the windows up I quickly changed to removing the front and corner windows because I felt the see through mesh was limiting my view too much. Next year I'll be changing back to brush blinds for better visibility.
