Im gonna post some links to pics of the heads ive boiled in the past..just finished one this past weekend in which i goofed and tried boiling a fox head at the same time and it severely discolored(but i kinda like it)..i keep the skin and all right on..drop it in a bucket i made that has a recessed botton to catch and hold heat..set it atop of my burn barrell and vigorously boil it for 2 to 6 hrs(the longer the better)..then i just power wash it and its done..

Thats the beauty of havin the cellphone..friday i had two guys i had never seen before shed hunting..whistled to them..they kept walkin but whistled back..when i caught up to em..they had no permission when asked..and had no idea who the land owner was..so i dialed up said owner and he told them via speakerphone to beat foot outta his posted property..

I hear ya grow alot..its a situational thing..its only accepted by some that you feed a fam only if your starving..by no means am i starving..because we have eaten well over the yrs.. I have most of my deer ground..i like makin meatloafs..tacos..and a kickass chile..whats left i make jerky outta and hang it in my oven ..my kid tried it when he was 4 and got the look in his eye..hes a carnivore for sure.. People hunt for different reasons Id like to hear why else they kill.. Not that any answer is wrong..but if yer in the wood for peace and tranquility..how does takin a deer out fit that persona?

Joe,..i believe in wakin up tamara..and doin somthin again..if i was to try to relate myself to any belief system..id say wicken..they believe in sun, moon earth..etc..things you can see and feel..but i am nothing religion wise..if you believe..cool with me..i like believing and living like no one but me controls what i do and what happens compared to what i do..

Some want to bring up fair chase..ok..heres a question..hows it fair to hunt a buck durring rut..when we know hes at his most vulnerable?..crossbows havnt touched the scene yet and already the seasons arent good enough...wow..

YAWN..all because of the introduction of the crossbow..cmon..get real

Like i said before..if your worried about the fair chase aspect..dont sit on the bait..im more interested in the nutrition aspect as well as $ for the state..a no kill radius could help with the ethics of "bait"..which as far as im concerned.. but not against..food plotting is..however some landowners dont have the tools or the habitat to support a plot..a feeder can be placed anywhere.. Nutrition for: Antler growth early in a deers life Prevention of winterkill Larger deer..buck and doe alike.. Its my belief the sound of a feeder would get deer to move..however they are most likely fenced.. Eruss..im right there with ya
