  1. Got the old family fishing boat out of storage. '88 14 foot Grumman deep V with 15hp Yamaha. Getting some fresh gas tomorrow and hopefully she fires up. Got a new deep cycle battery for the trolling motor (not on yet). This boat has spent a ton of hours in the ADKs. Paradox, Brant, Schroon, Sacandaga lake (not resovoir), Fish Creek Ponds, Upper Saranac and a bunch of others. Hasn't been on the water in 5 years or so. Gonna take it up to Lincoln Pond in a couple weeks. 6abe794632b07940b0f890509c8c5a94.jpg

  2. I fish mainly smallish ADK lakes. For bass, definitely a 5" Senko, black with blue flake. Trolling for trout, either cowbell christmas tree with #6 snell hook and 1/2 night crawler or lake clear wobbler with the same.

  3. We bought a black Friday deal Dell laptop 3 years ago for $350 and it has done everything we use it for with no problems - internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc and my daughter uses it to play Minecraft. I have a Microsoft Surface for work and love it. I am not a computer expert and could not tell you the specs on either one but I can say that each have got pretty heavy use, for three years and two years respectively and neither have had any problems.

  4. Took a look this morning and no more of the fence was chewed. Maybe it was a porcupine passing through the neighborhood. One thing I did notice was there were scratch marks down the whole length of the fence but not as concentrated as they are where it was eaten.

Have porcupine near you ? Scratches look too big for squirrels

We live in a pretty tight residential neighborhood. Never saw a porcupine around. Definitely raccoons, possums and squirrels.  Just can't figure why any of them would want to eat my fence!

  6. Something is eating my fence. Very strange. Ate a chunk off the top and scratches all over the backside of the fence. Raccoon or squirrel? Maybe rabid? I'm sure a healthy animal would find something better to eat than pressure treated wood. daaabd6dc03bd17f72fe5d16241aafb6.jpge9e3313203f6037ca72a21a97d9b5c36.jpgf5ddd8849fd1ce100cbead02effd36d6.jpg
