My name is Doug and I am a small business owner and avid hunter. I created a smartphone app with my brother and good friend who are both avid hunters as well. Our tool is called: DeerLogic.

DeerLogic brings technology into the hunting woods by giving hunters a hand-held ability to easily log information for tracking and patterning deer. With our new technology, hunters have the ability to enter data they find such as rubs, scrapes, bedding areas, deer trails, and "live" deer sightings. When the data is entered it is immediately updated and saved upon entry, keeping accurate time and location through GPS satellite technology. Thus, giving an advantage to the hunter during the hunt or while planning a future hunt. Having the information from your last 10 or more scouting trips at the touch of a finger will give you a tremendous advantage over the deer you pursue. In addition, DeerLogic has the ability to create groups. Grouping gives you the ability to share information between people within your "Hunting Group". With the grouping capability you multiply your information with each member, giving even more of an advantage to the hunters. Not only will you and your friends be able to share information, it's what hunting is all about... Sharing the experience with your family and friends.
