Live2Hunt
Out at the Tonawanda WMA this AM. It was like a ghost town. A dozen Rudy ducks and only a couple of flocks of canadas. No ducks to be seen. Whats up??

Live2Hunt
Went out yesterday AM. Pulled in to park, big doe standing in front of me.LOL Finishing settting up my decoys at 5:15 and the geese were honking. They started leaving the swamps in the dark with 25 straight minute of flying overhead all in the dark. 6:31am is legal shooting time here. 6:28 six mallards fly into my decoy set. They stayed for about a minute and flew away. (teasers) Tempting but nope! The rest of the day was very slow but I did manage to get a ring neck duck. They have us patterned. Deer are hanging with the duck hunters and the ducks must be with the deer hunters.LOL
greybeard
I think that they are on a pond on L.I. where you can't hunt.. While I was freshwater fishing today I saw loads of Canada Geese, mallards and blacks also some spoonbills in the pond and many birds flying over. Can't hunt the pond, or the surrounding area for anything I went down to the bay and saw Brant,.
