wmig2
I use the Foxpro FX5 and love it. I have used hand calls but have gotten to comfortable with the electronic call. I would try both fields and woods. I have had luck at both locations. Its just a matter of the predator committing to the call. Always set up downwind coyotes always seem to get down wind to confirm what is making the sound. Good Luck
BizCT
In my opinion its all about calling where there is actually game. I have never called in coyote, fox, or bobcat when specifically targeting them with my foxpro. I close the door to the car quietly, im scent free, i sit for a good amount of time before calling, etc. However, I went to Arizona and made 3 quicks sets and called in 2 fox within minutes. We pulled up on quad, got off, and started calling 2 minutes later.

BizCT
I hunted AZ with a shotgun when calling. Both fox came from behind me and almost ran over my legs.
