It will eventually be shot down by a federal court somewhere, but it's a good first step. The Wyoming State Legislature has introduced legislation to get ahead of the Federal push for more firearm restrictions. The bill exempts all firearms made in compliance with the Wyoming Firearm Freedom Act from any federal laws passed after January 1, 2013. Furthermore, it makes ANY FEDERAL AGENT attempting to enforce such laws guilty of a felony, making them subject to a minimum of 1 year and one day in prison (just enough to make them federally prohibited persons, ironic huh? funny too, imho) and a maximum of 5 years, plus a $5,000 fine. Hopefully more and more states do this.
