I have a 1898 Krag 30-40 cal. rifle is cut down from orignal stock. Redfield peep sight rear

Blade front, one box of shells, gun is solid and shoots good.

May make trade deal for Marlin 30.30 (35) cal rifle OR single shot 30.30,30.06,or 7.62X39

I have seen a few of those cut down Krags that are nicely done.

The cartridge has a lot of nostalgic appeal, as well as being a very capable game cartridge, and those Krag actions are SO buttery smooth..

Good deal Al, glad you sold it..I didn't figure it would hang around too long for that price.

I was TEMPTED, but I need another rifle like I need another hole in my head.

AND of course, after buying the rifle, I would have had to buy DIES, COMPONENTS, yada yada..
