  Subject: Good News! 

From the NYSCC

The NYS Conservation  Council has some good news to report!  We have just learned that Gordon  Batcheller has been appointed Chief of the Bureau of Wildlife for the Department of Environmental Conservation.  He  will be filling the vacancy resulting from Dr. John Major’s retirement.  It is  great to know that we have a sportsman at heart watching over one of our  Bureaus.  Gordon will be a great asset to the sporting community, and we look forward to working with  him.
