What is the proper and or legal way to transport you handgun?

If you have a sport/recreation restriction, (this is in the case of genesee county anyways) you can carry it concealed to and from the location you are hunting/targeting practicing.

That's what I thought, but unsure right now. I live in Albany county, hunt all over, say at least 5 different counties.
