Turkey Crops

We all know that turkeys will eat almost any thing. If it moves,grows ,or flies turkeys will eat it. After a successful hunt ,how many of you check the crop to see what they have been eating? I always check the crop because it sometimes helps me to know where to look for birds. Sometimes it is a mixed bag, other times it can be very helpful. Most of the birds that I have taken have had dandelion buds in their crops. So when I am hunting and find a good patch of dandelion flowers ,I keep that in mind for later on in the season when the birds can be hard to find. I know they grow along back dirt roads and fire trails and around some fields. It has helped me in the pass so I am always on the lookout for them. What is the strangest thing you have found?

Usually I kill them early morning so It's pretty empty ...beetles..grass but one year a crop full of  what looked like bird seed....he must have hit the neighbors bird feeder before making his way down the hill...lol
