Cabin Fever
Not sure if they'll be in the same spot. You shot him late morning, well after he left off the roost, so if you could figure out where they roosted, you would have a better chance there. My son shot his right in the roosting area yesterday (actually ~80 yards from the tree), so I'm wondering if his buddies will roost back in there or not. Thought I'd go to camp in the morning to listen.
TeeBugg
I assume they roost across the road where i cant hunt but this is the second bird ive shot in this spot after 1030 am. Only way to know is to get back at em!
TeeBugg
Hoping to get back in the same set of woods on sunday. This area isnt hunted heavily so they may survive. Whats nice is when i went walking yesterday and shot my gobbler....i found a sweet little spot to sit as opposed to my makeshift spot yesterday.
