another 240#s of lime Sunday....I did the area next to where the fencing is. I spread lime to the tree line on left of pi...c its 200ft x 60ft...This was sprayed down last fall and it grew back well so it will  get hit again after Weds. then disced up in a week 2 weeks...the fencing will be stretched by then....not sure what I'll put in yet...perhaps nothing to keep them in the corn and powerplant...no sense in advertising whats coming into that area...I'll just manage the weeds this year and plant next...half in corn and the rest in annuals...By fall I'll have to the end of the fence sprayed down any ways...100yrds

The title of your post threw me off a bit. . . My first thought you had to "put down" one of your dogs. . . Thank God it was about planting and not what I thought!

Ditto on that! Thanks......I've only had to do that twice...and it's just an awful thing...

Hhmm I can see where you'd think that...gosh this time of year I'm always "Putting down" some thing or other...seed...lime...fertilizer...spray..insecticide...Makes waiting for the "picking up"part seem a long ways off...peas..berries...corn..squirrel...apples...turkey...pear...deer...lol
